Travel - Collect Moments Not Things

Updated: Mar 13, 2018

Travelling, for me, is same as reading books. Travel gives me time to think, observe and learn new things - culture, food, history. It also gives a lot of time to introspect and understand on how certain things are done around the world. You sort of get a benchmark on life. Inspiration to live better, or perhaps, happy to be living a better life and giving back to those in need.

I read ^ from another blogger and I cannot agree more!! It is written so beautifully that I want all you guys to really read it and understand it.

Guys, I cannot even begin to tell you the kind of amazing people I have met, the inspiring experiences I have had, the beautiful cultures I have been able to learn more about and the breathtaking natural wonders I have seen during my travels. We should all try to travel as much as we can and as often as we can. This is the only way we can truly become global and learn to appreciate other people and their cultures! <3

"To know your friends, travel with them. To know yourself, travel alone".

I am a strong supporter of traveling with friends and family, but it's so good to be able to travel alone. You just see, observe, learn and experience a lot more than you do when you are with people. But everyone's different and solo traveling is not an area of comfort for many. However, I strongly agree that it is something worth trying! I once took a trip to Cuba on my own and believe me I was a bit concerned about traveling alone, and it turned out to be the best trip of my life!!

Since then, I have been to Florence in Italy and Banff and Calgary in Canada on my own and loved them. I still consider myself a new-bee in this solo traveling scene, but it so much more satisfying and internally fulfilling that you actually get to connect with your soul on a whole new level.

I really hope you guys take some inspiration and plan your travels! I look forward to hear all your stories. Do share!!

Love yourself, love your day, love your life,
